In and around Narooma there are great ocean beaches and estuaries which a suitable for all kinds of water sports, including fishing. Attractions in the area include aspectacular golf course perched on the clifftops, world class diving, whale watching and surfing and the trip to Montague Island Nature Reserve has been described as New South Wales’ best maritime adventure. |
Dive on shipwrecks, learn about Eurobodalla's Aboriginal culture at Umbarra Cultural Centre, and enjoy fresh local seafod at one of Narooma's many restaurants.
As well, Narooma boasts many cafes, clubs, and a variety of shopping options to suit everyone. Narooma even has a six-lane indoor heated pool. Or if you're up for something a little more adventurous, book a surfing lesson and take on those waves. |

Narooma is home to a fleet of modern charter boats, and full and half day charters for groups and individuals are available for fishing and diving or just a cruise around the island with a bit of snorkeling thrown in.
A cruise on beautiful Wagonga Inlet aboard the Wagonga Princess is a special experience. Skipper Charlie will tell you the history of the town and the inlet, and there might just be a grain of truth in some of his tall stories.

Visit the Narooma Visitor Information Centre to book your trip to Montague Island - a fantastic experience. The wildlife is amazing with seabirds, penguins, Australian and New Zealand fur seals, dolphins, and the migration of the humpback whales during Spring.
Montague Island is also a mecca for fishers chasing kingfish, marlin and yellowfin tuna, as well as many reef species. |
The Great Southern Blues and Rockabilly Festival is held in Narooma on the October long weekend every year. Two nights and three days of hot rhythms and cool blues, market and craft stalls and international food fair. Featuring some of the greatest blues and roots music artists from around the world and Australia non-stop on three stages in a comfortable, intimate and friendly environment.

The Tilba region is one of the Eurobodalla Nature Coast’s most popular drawcards.
Central Tilba is a magnet for visitors with its working village atmosphere and variety of excellent produce and wares. Stores include a leatherworks, cobbler, bakery, ABC Cheese Factory, woodturner, toy store, lolly shop, galleries, heaps of arts and crafts, a great pub as well as lovely cafes.
Just south of Central Tilba at Tilba Tilba, Foxglove Spire Gardens are stunning. Take a picnic and spend a day strolling through these beautiful woodland gardens. Nearby, the nursery, café, antique and gift stores complete a great day out at Tilba Tilba.
